I installed CbB alongside Sonar Platinum. In the folder "Cakewalk Content" I now have two identical sub folders - "Cakewalk Core" and "Sonar Platinum". Is it safe to delete one of these? Which one?

So am I to understand that the Cakewalk under bandlab has already been upgraded?  Or is it only the installer that was upgraded?  Thanks.

Check the About screen for build info. The current version of CbB is 24.04.1.28.

Wow, Just catching up here. Looks like I might've inadvertently saved myself some trouble by being out of touch til now. Cakewalk By Bandlab installed fine, as far as I can tell so far anyway. I'm a bit confused since my software registration emails are all over the place, lol. But for now I just have a question about my main ones. I used a different Gmail account for my BandLab account because of name reasons. Will that upset continuity with my Cakewalk software? Not that I'm at all sure if there's anything left over from my Sonar Platinum lifetime deal, but if there is I don't want to lose it. Also don't want any software not to work, and would like to know if there are any special steps I have to take if I have to reinstall.

I believe the recommended/required procedure is to sign up to BandLab with the SAME email address that you used for your Cakewalk account. That way they can transfer over all you Cakewalk stuff to your BandLab account. I guess if you have any problems like not having access to your old Cakewalk email or any other issues you should contact BandLab support and to see if it can be sorted out.

I was a bit stymied upgrading the Cake by Bandlab. It would download something,
but no clue where. I found my .exe file where you said it was and now am up to
the current version.
Not very intuitive.... but I am happy seeing Cakewalk alive again!
Been using some version of Cakewalk for over twenty years.

Thanks Noel! I'm pretty sure I downloaded this back in April - I was prompted to download again... thought this was a new release

So when will be any complete "what's new" or "Release Notes" for every Cakewalk build listed there?
