I got it already... It's 'poisson d'avril' for everybody who's running Windows 32-bit. First of all, I'll try to upgrade mine to 64-bit ... and then, I'll install BandLab Assistant.

Don't know if it's the most recent Windows update, the Hotfix, or a combination of the two, but CbB is being extremely well-behaved.

It would be nice in the future to have separate small file size updates, as downloading full 600mg file each time can be time consuming on slow networks, though it makes sure it's a complete install. Just a thought.

Hi Meng, I had Sonar LE on an old computer. I've now downloaded Cakewalk and the features are fantastic. Can I check if the SI Instruments come packaged too? I can set them up and there is activity on the meters when I press piano keys but no sound. Wondered if this was a licensing issue rather than a technical problem?

No, It's a technical issue. Make sure the output with dancing meters has it's output destination pointed to the correct hardware port.

In the BandLab Assistant you can install the Studio Instruments (which I believe are the same as what was installed with SONAR Artist). From the BandLab Assistant select the Apps Tab and on the Cakewalk app, use the little drop down arrow on the right side dialog button (probably labeled "OPEN"). Choose "Install Add-ons" which will pop up a new dialog box. You'll have four choices, most likely. The first is Studio Instruments. There are also selection boxes for "Drum Replacer", "Melodyne" (which is a trial version), and the "Theme Editor".
