Here is a piece I did a couple of years ago and never posted as I hadn't completed the mastering on it. I recently had some time on my hands to work on getting this finished and so I hope you find it worthy. As always your comments are important to me and always welcomed. I hope you will enjoy this piece. Thanks you in advance for listening.

This is a very moving piece of music.  I'm reminded of some of the background music in "Jesus Christ Superstar".  You have great samples, and you know how to orchestrate very well.  It's always educational to hear your music.  Peace!

So, are you Miklos Rozsa in disquise? That was indeed moving. I liked when the choral stabs came in. Did you learn orchestration formally, or teach yourself. I'm interested in making soundtrack music and I was thinking maybe just study scores. Thank you for sharing.

Lynn,
Thank you for listening and for the nice compliments. Although I may use a lot of loops and samples in my music, it is always still a challenge trying to line them all up properly so they sound right and actually create a complete musical production when finished. I do at times even play music and make loops to add into these pieces, but I haven't had to play to much in the past couple of years, because I have so many already made loops and samples, it's just easier to tie them all together and be creative, so I can make the kind of music I enjoy the most. I will soon be doing more playing though, as I am getting a Custom Shop Gibson ES 339 Flame Top and so look for some new and exciting pieces coming to a neighborhood near you soon. Thanks for your comments, they are always appreciated. I really did enjoyed your last piece, it was awesome!

Moe, Thanks for listening and for your comments, they are much appreciated. This was created using various loops and samples and as for orchestration, it is just a knack I have for the big screen, but don't have any real formal training other than what I learned in high school many, many, many, many years ago. I just like playing around with loops and samples and seem to have a gift of arranging the right stuff in the right way to create a finished product. There are so many products out there for creating scores that you can become broke spending money on them all, unless, of course, you have a good job and can afford them. The hardest part is creating the different tracks and getting everything to line up properly and meld together. It takes a lot of time and concentration, then you have to master each track to your liking and then theirs the final mix that brings it all together. It is really a lot of work, but I like to think it is all worth the time and effort.
