The Band19
I posted one I remixed recently, and it was well received. I really appreciate everyone's comments on my classic cover.

I am posting what I think was one of my best colabs? It's really an amazing tune? I wish I could take more credit for it? But the credit goes to Jim... He's an incredible song writer, musician, and performer...

I'm just the lead singer who interpreted his wonderful song.

I don't think it got the press it deserved when he posted it originally? Jim is extremely talented... And when I say extremely? I mean, "I would be honored" to have my name associated with his in any way possible... Much respect to Mr. J. Yoyoyo...

People may have heard this? But I'm not sure they appreciate the genius that went in to it (and by that I am in no way commenting on my performance, but rather on Jim's talent as a song writer...) I think that "the song?" Is different, and special? And his creation is praise worthy... I was lucky to be able to contribute.

Very nice construction on this song. I like the instrumentation and textures throughout. Salsas are always quite interesting to me, especially when a lot is going on in its creativity. Oh, and your vocals were not spot on, but, maybe better. Luck is over rated you know. You should say it was an honor to be able to contribute. Great song all and very nicely done. By the way Robbie, I hope you had a feather in you hat when you sang this one!!

Peace and Blessings, John

It's all performed, there's nothing sampled? So there may be some parts that float/are less than perfect? But we did the best we could... It's not as good as something someone else did? But as far as original works go? it rawks pretty hard ;-) , thanks for listening and for commenting. *and according to my reading of that book? You'd better start loving me? "harder?/more?" I'm not feeling the love? And the way I read the book? YOU are supposed to LOVE me... Make me feel it.

"It's easy to love those who you do love? It's harder to love me? However you are "commanded" to love me..."

Now where's the love? LOVE ME DAMIT!!

I remember this song well?  The first time I heard it, I thought that it was a minor masterpiece?  I remember it getting very good remarks from listeners the first time?  This is one of the best sung songs by you that I've yet heard?  I'm not surprised by the talent of James, as he's one of the bright lights on this forum.  I wish there was a venue that you could be heard by millions of people, Robbie, but are you willing to learn a new language!  Please don't think that I'm hiding my true feelings behind question marks; it's just that you've taught me a new way of communication?

Beautiful tune and performed well by both of you.  Seemed a bit muddy at times but that could be me.  I'm feeling muddy!  Again, very nice performances and songwriting.

Robbie, There is nothing but love in my statements and a bit of humor. As I mentioned above everything was great.
Awesome performances all around.
Love ya man!!

Seriously, this song should win a Grammy!  I've listened to it about 5 times in a row, and it just gets better and better.  Robbie, your voice sounds so much better when you're singing as yourself and not someone else.  I have this page bookmarked.
