LOL agreed, though I have yet to see a room that wasn't helped by bass traps in at least in 3 out of 4 (vertical) corners. Though yes, it's easy to go crazy too.
yup. you don't need to spend a ton of $$$ to get noticeable improvements. But to get it perfect you need to spend a ton of $$$. and even then, it won't be perfect.
Get it as good as your budget allows and learn to compensate in your mixes. But do your research so you don't waste your money.
