Nice Christian Rock song here.

Like the sentiment + the humility in the lyrics.

Good guitar solo.

Thanks for sharing.

Good Job!

Hi, Mike,

This is a really well done Christian Rocker with excellent performances by all three of you and a great inspirational message!

I'm on my second listen.  It has a really memorable hook, both the acoustic and electric guitar playing and tones are perfect for the style, the vocals and harmonies are dynamite, the bass is nice and punchy, and Reese's keys are the icing on the cake.

You've got a nice clean, fresh sounding mix that sounds really good, too.

Really nice work, guys, good stuff!

Have a great weekend,
Bob

I've never been a fan of this genre (Ted Sandquist's The Courts of the King is still the only worship album I ever heard that I liked), but that was a nice guitar solo.

Maybe add an intro?

In a couple of spots, I hear the bass guitar ahead of the drum beat. Mostly in the verses? Might be worth a check. In the first 15 seconds of the tune, might be worth a look. OR I could be nitpicking.

It could be a song about a forklift.   :)

nice one! It has good energy. I listened on headphones, and I'd recommend the vocals out in front just a hair more.

cheers,
-Tom

Very good song, great mix. Outstanding vocal.
I like the build up starting at :40 but then the payoff, the chorus, at :58
("you lift me up") just seemed to be lacking in something. Seems like you'd
want an emotional response right there which I had expected with a strong
melodic element or maybe more vocal backing, not sure what.
Anyway, just my take on it.

Paul- Thanks for listening and commenting. Glad you liked the song.  Sean does a great job with lyrics, as always.

Bob- Thank you, Bro for listening and commenting.  I take this as high compliment from you; I listen to your work often and like your style.

Bill- Though not your thing...and believe me...I get it; I appreciate the listen and comments.  It always helps to hear what people think of the mix, even if its not your style.  Believe me....it wasn't mine for a long while either.  Sean's solo work is always top notch.

Tom- Thank you for that insight.  I will definitely check the Bass and Drums in those spots to see if I got a little ahead of the Drums.  That is actually a common fault of mine on timing, I tend to anticipate the beat.  I have gotten a lot better at it over the years, but it still happens on occasion.

Bjorn- Thank you as well, man.  I will let Sean comment on any of the issues you have noted.
