Saw a gig of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers in 1986 in my home town in Holland.
Nice to have seen them in a small concert room before they became HUGE !
Oh and Hillal Slovak was still alive then.

Well, Genesis, Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin were my first four concerts. If y'all ask who those bands are, then let's just say that I'm celebrating the 20th anniversary of my auto insurance rates dropping this year.

49 years young as of June. I think my first concert was Jethro Tull at the Santa Monica Civic in 73. My first real gig was at a night club called Wild Man Sam's in Orange County, CA. The stage was so rickity that everyone was afraid to get energenic during the show for fear of bouncing a band member off or having it collapse.

first show SunRa and the Arkestra. also the first time i fell in love upon meeting the beautify June Tyson, dancer . seeing and hearing SunRa Marshall Allen and John Gilmore had a profound impact on my life.
Sonny Rollins performed the next night and Gary Burton the following.

Its funny...i always thought that these types of programs were geared more twards the younger crowds( 18 to 21)....guess i was wrong.

thanks for sharing everyone.....its a good thing we have a bunch of mature people helping each other out....if everyone was any yonger....this forum would probably suck... and be loaded with flames and such.
