Ah! I'm 8 years older than you.

If my math is right, that makes me 2 years younger than you. (Gotta keep it a little cryptic )

How's this for a first concert. My high school won a radio contest a was treated to a concert in the gym by:

Little Anthony and the Imperials (Tears on my Pillow)
Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, (Young Girl) and
The Vanilla Fudge (You Keep me Hanging on )

Luckily I soon graduate not only from that high school but also from attending concerts in the gym to the Filmore East.

Well, let's see... If we're using my "actual" age as a calculator... that would have been '83 or '84. If, however, we are using the *new and improved!* Grandpa Mojo "age rectifier" as a calculator... um, that would have been '92 or '93?..

And BTW, it IS a rush to play "Thanks for the Memories" as a trumpet player as Bob comes out to a stadium full of people... My first gigs were at small nightclubs when I was 17 or 18... but that was my first "big one"... It was cool... and he was a VERY nice guy! Very down to earth.
