Fix for isolated crash on project load. 
  • Potential crash on startup identified by Microsoft App Verifier
  • Crash on startup due to project load toast notification
  • VST and project load toast notifications leak memory
  • Clicking Clips Pane while Project is Loading Can Cause Crash

Really grateful for the save and continued support for Cakewalk ! Cool to see that Craig is continuing the tips books -  I have the previous 2.  and  - dang if the Mug and T-shirt didn't arrive. Life is pert dang good in Cakewalk land.
 
Edited to add - This latest install was the smoothest install yet on my win 7 system.

Just to emphasize, if you have the previous two books, you don't really need the new one. It's intended for those who missed out on the first two, or new users.
 
It really is good to see that Noel is putting the band back together, now that Jesse Jost is back onboard.

My only issue with the installer is that the folder selection feature in Advanced setup is broken.
All the fields are read-only and cannot be changed.
 
I had to move my Cakewalk VST folder couple of months back and can't get the installer to recognize the new location.

Its not broken. You cannot change the folder structure for an existing install only a new install.
The installer grays out the fields if it detects that the product is already installed.
