I'm seeing a weird behavior that I don't think I saw before. Is it a feature or a bug?
 
When I drag audio clips from the browser into a track, I get a new marker with the clip's filename at the start of the clip. The weird thing is, it doesn't happen with all audio clips -- in fact, the more I try dragging random clips into a track, it's really only happening with sample packs from Freshly Squeezed Samples.
 
It's not horrible cleaning out the random markers, but I wind up with a lot of them, especially when I'm working with drums.
 
Any ideas on why this is happening, and how I can make it stop?

Aha! This morning, I found it.
 
In preferences: File -> Audio Data -> Allow Importing of WAV File Cue Markers
 
If that's checked, I get the markers, and if it's not, I don't. Assuming that the feature allows you to embed a bunch of markers into a WAV, I can totally see where it's useful. Just not right now. :-)

A saying that I always keep in mind is, "A wise man can learn much from a fool, but only a fool learns nothing from a wise man." (Though, in trying to find the exact wording just now, I think I may actually have been thinking of, "A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer.")
