Since when does offset mode on busses move with automation??   That defeats the whole purpose of it.  I moved so haven't done a project in a few months so it seems numerous anomalies are now present in SONAR that were not there before.  Of set mode, the faders should NOT move with automation and just allow you to pull down the relative level while automation runs in non-offset or normal mode.  THIS IS NOT GOOD! Please help and fix this 

From what I know about Offset Mode it works correctly:
 
1 - Engage Offset Mode
2 - Make the changes you want to fader levels etc.
3 - switch out of Offset Mode and back to Envelope Mode
 
The faders will still respond to automation (correctly!) but with any increase/decrease you applied during Offset Mode.

I think Stxx is saying that the faders are moving whilst offset mode is engaged.

I don't see this. Offset mode on buses is working as expected.
Without more detail and a recipe its hard to understand where you are seeing a problem.

I'M NOT SEEING A PROBLEM EITHER!!!???   
 
Sorry, couldn't resist. But seems all good here. Possibly the project is not actually in Offset mode...? Are there '+' signs next to the widget names?

No I know what Im doing and am experiencing some wierd things.   Offset mode faders working with automation.   The + sign is shows and I verify  Im in offset and also, I have issue with normalization but maybe my project has some corruption since others are saying that offset still works.  I'll try with another project.  Thanks for posting folks

Just out of curiosity, does the fader return to the fixed offset value when the transport is stopped, or does it stay where the automation envelope left it?

OK.... so this one was just a corrupt project and it cleared up but normalization from another post has serious issue corrupting track and clip data
