I experience this once in a while while auditioning clips in a loop region.
 
Tap spacebar to start, tap again to stop - repeat x times......often quickly
 
Every once in a while the now time will jump to the beginning of the project. There are other older threads on the forum that report this. For me it is random and impossible to provide steps to reproduce on demand.

This sounds like what happens when you rapidly press the spacebar twice. This will put the Now Time marker at
01:01:000
 
This is not a bug and should be instantly repeatable

This sounds like what happens when you rapidly press the spacebar twice. This will put the Now Time marker at
01:01:000
 
This is not a bug and should be instantly repeatable

Double clicking the spacebar quickly does not normally RTZ on my systems.
 
Edit: After trying it some more on a new project it does but seems intermittent. I bang on the spacebar and it rarely RTZ... Maybe I should use a metronome

I was messing around with a new project and it seemed to mostly work so I edited my post. I agree with you it seems a bit off and don't think the timing of the hits can fully explain it being so intermittent.

This is a really weird thing and I can't get consistent results - even using 2 hands to make sure it's not timing. For the most part on my systems it does not RTZ with a quick double tap on the spacebar and when it does it seems like an anomaly.
 
When I saw the reply saying it was a shortcut to RTZ, I tried again on a new project and it was working!?
 
...but now it doesn't again even after trying different projects and a reboot. idk
