I purchase a Yamaha Montage at last June's Sweetwater Gearfest. It has some great sounds.

One of it's main claim to fame is the Super Knob. One know with flashing LED's that control a slew of various assignable parameters with just a twist of the knob. The knob can be controlled with your hand or with a foot pedal. Unfortunatily, if you want to record the SK positions, it's down with Sysex messages. For those that doesn't alway play a perfect performance (ME!), I would like to control the SK position with Continuous Controller messages that can be drawn and edited if needed.

I have developed a method of controlling the Super Knob position with CC messages. I put together a quick video demonstrating the operation on You Tube here. https://youtu.be/JvpxSwYcYKU

Thank you H&E! I've been discussing this on the Yamaha.com Montage site. I've been bugging the Yamaha reps on the site so much, Yamaha is planning to change the firmware to allow CC Record/Playback of the Super Knob in a future update. (They agreed what I was doing would be useful)

I'm going to check out the site you recommended tomorrow.
