Excellent. Seems a little different from what I'm used to hearing from you.
Very stately sound, lush textures. Couple of places sounded a bit like Vangelis to me, not the instruments but the sequence of notes. MMultiBand Granular? I'll have to check that out.

Thanks Bjorn

I've got a couple more "new" tracks like this, but you're right, they are few and far between lately as I have been spending quite a bit of time exploring Absynth and some of its more "unusable" presets in conjunction with my current "go-to" effects which, invariably come out a bit darker in mood and are more sound effects really.

Vangelis eh! That's always nice to hear, being a fan of his. The sequence of notes are mostly improvised and then tweaked where I hit duff, or undesirable notes. For a six minute piece I probably spent much less time on the note sequence than I would normally.

I often use MMultiBandGranular to create twinkly sort of things. In this instance it provides the higher frequency drone, but it is still driven by the two simple pad tracks. Well worth exploring, in my opinion, and it is a massive effect with lots of automation options.
