Thanks for chiming in and introducing yourself, Jesse. As soon as CbB was released i installed it and found it more stable than Spalt, which was really appreciated. When I found out Noel was on board, I knew things were going to be just fine. Meeting Meng and you has only solidified our thoughts about this transition.
I felt from the beginning that this situation was already far better than Gibson or Roland owning the product. I remember the days of Twelve Tone owning Cakewalk. There's certain advantages to a smaller company with not so many outside distractions and the skeleton crew you describe, especially when they're so capable like you and Noel, is a great start.
What you explain, makes it understandable why the new forum hasn't happened yet and why we all need to be patient as Bandlab hires more people like you and gets up to full steam. I'm totally confident in the team and feel really good about the future.
After the shock of last fall, I decided I would continue to use Splat since I've been on board since the DOS days and have tons of song files, so Bandlab has been Cakewalk's savior in so many ways. We're looking forward to what the future brings as it unfolds naturally.
