Ok I am having a pretty serious problem with sonar platinum changing plugin parameters on me after saving a project and reopening it. This is not ok, the first couple times it was annoying but now it's getting ridiculous. What's the point in saving a project if upon opening it again it's not the project I saved? Coming from 8.5 there have been a lot of annoying little things to get used to, but also a lot of improvements. This is unacceptable though. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice?

Some context would help...which plug-ins, how often, who makes the plug-ins, etc. Are they effects or instruments?VST or Direct X?
 
Given that plug-ins always come back as saved for me, it's important to understand more specifics about your issues to see where any differences could lie.

I can't say I've had that happen even once from any plugin or instrument, working with Cake here since Sonar 5.

Now that you mention it I think I have it narrowed down. At first it was hard to say what exactly changed beside the drums or vocals would be drastically different in volume or sound from the last time I saved. But now I believe the culprit is my really old digital phish phones plugins. Guess I can't use those anymore. Thanks! For some reason it didn't click before that those were the only ones causing issues. Perhaps I was a bit quick to blame sonar, although they did work fine in 8.5. But they are really, really old 32 bit plugs so I guess it's kind of understandable. Thanks again.
