You mean the time it takes to render?

The "process" of freezing a track (pne click on the snowflake) couldn't really be any simpler!?!?

If possible !
The freeze button is a valuable tool on large projects even with new computers , being able to press the snowflake on heavy tracks and have the process finish in half the current time or even faster , would be extremely valuable . And then combined with group freeze , priceless !

I do want to say Thankyou to Noel and all the cakewalk staff for all there hard work with the rolling updates , they are are truly fantastic and help immensely with my work flow. (:

Although this may be suited in features , I just want to add one last thing to my suggestions for a faster freeze .

Why can't each track have a POWER button, similar to the freeze button functionality ,but instead when the POWER button is enabled it just disconnects / disables the track from the project completely.
( Leave everything the way it is and just switch it off - The track is now greyed out and unusable - but you also have all that CPU back from that track )
At the same time platinum automatically saves that track in a hidden folder inside the current project folder ( similar to a project save , but just a track save ) and then when you re-enable the POWER button platinum grabs that track save and opens it , all automatically .

This would be heaps faster than the freeze button especially on heavy tracks , and if you also added Group Power button ! Then we could switch off multiple tracks at once fast and switch them all back on fast , and not have to worry about bouncing algorithms etc etc until that stage of the project .

Won't the archive button do most of what you require?

I think you are talking about the Archive function which is already available :)

After doing all the updates from Command Center, I go and check Melodyne and its version is 4.04.004.  So has Melodyne 4.1 been released?  If so, will the update be coming through the Command Center?

I saw the 2016.09 tweet about melodyne 4.1, but it seems to have been deleted. Was it announced prematurely? I'm really hoping there are major melodyne bug fixes coming.

have either one of you tried sending in a crash dump to Cakewalk ?
or what does this message say ? have you looked in event viewer ?

have both of you tried Re personalizing Sonar ?
Hold down control and start Sonar.

you also might be experiencing a plug in problem. try opening in safe mode.
Hold down Shift and open Sonar.

Just sent in an problem report along with crash dumps. No errors were detected with plugins when i started Sonar Pro. Would try the other things you suggested, but I rolled back two updates to a working version cause I have a few things that I am working on. Will keep your suggestions in mind for the future. Thanks!
