After years of recording, I note that I have a interesting  problem.  All material is saved to a different drive "D Audio". I find that I now have tons of files that are CW Project Files but no main Project folder.   When I open Drive D, I see folders "Cakewalk Projects" and "Cakewalk Project Files".  Obviously, there are other folders as well.  
Cakewalk Projects open and contains two folders at the top Audio, Audio Data. Underneath these are Cakewalk Project Files.
This is just fine and I suspect what they all should look like.
 
However, this is only a small portion of the songs I have  recorded.
The other folder named "Cakewalk Project Files" has the vast majority of the songs.  Each of these folders contains CWP files and an audio file.   No audio data file. None of these songs are in the folder "Cakewalk Projects".
 
Now, to complicate things.....   In the cakewalk project files folder, there is a folder "Cakewalk project files".  Clicking on it shows a ton more CWP files.   Now some of these are duplicates from the first CWPF folder.... but some not... even some of the duplicates have some different versions of the tunes from different saves.
 
How in the world do I consolidate all of this stuff?  

Hi. My guess that these projects in the default folder, were created by using new project from the Start Screen without naming them first. If that is the case (or even otherwise), just open them (one by one), and save as, "include copy clips with projects". When done, delete content from old folder. Others may know better.

Thanks,  However, I always name anything I open. I may change it later but it always starts with a name.   I just finished trying something slightly different. It seems to work.
 
I open drive D from the windows start page. Then I just tried transferring entire folders from Cakewalk Project Files to the Cakewalk Projects Folder. I then opened SPLAT and tried opening the new locations. So far, so good.
We are talking a few hundred folders..... Have a few to go.
 

every once a year, I typically go through and do some house cleaning.
most of my cleaning is because (at times), In the past I have been careless and didn't always check to see if I am using "per project" folders.
thus leaving everything in one huge Audio folder.
 
I've done what Ken has suggest, I use the "Save as" function, then I run the cakewalk audio clean up.
then I use the CWAF tool to find any stragglers, then delete the no longer needed audio files.
