Hi All

I'm trying to find a way to access about 20 bundles (.bun) files that I recorded years ago with Sonar 1. Is there any way known so that I can recover or unpack the bundle to recover the tracks?

Thanks....

Do you have the version that you saved them in?
If so open them up in that version and save them as multi-track wave files. Yes you will have to mix them over , but that's probably a good thing.

Another good reason for leaving all versions on your computer at least until you copy all files to new version.
Just my 2 cents.

Therein is the problem. it was so long ago it's been thrown several moves ago and about 10 new pc's back :-(

I was hoping there might be a solution from cakewalk  to "debundle" to save the waves?

I've opened old bun files in Platinum with no problems. I copied them from my CD to my hard drive first.

As mentioned above, opening bun-files should not be a problem, if the files are fine. Bundle files
are never recommended as the only save format, as when they get corrupt, the whole project is lost.
If the projects include VSTs you don't have anymore, those need to be replaced. I don't know  if you need
to open the files in safe-mode (pressing Shift when opening) in order to eliminate/select the VSTs one by one.

@KingsMix: The projects may also include MIDI.
