Uninstall/Reinstall won't affect any data. That data includes, projects, config files and registry entries. It is possible to manually remove the config files and registry data, a.k.a. clean install. Before going to the trouble of a clean install, it may be more productive to figure out what is wrong and attempt to correct the problem. If the problem persists, one thing to try is rename Aud.ini, and TTSEQ.ini in
%appdata%\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum. These files are recreated with default entries the next time SONAR starts up. It is also possible to reset to factory defaults these files and some registry entries with a full repersonalization by holding the CTRL while starting SONAR.
