Is there any word when we'll have multi track ARA for Melodyne Studio 4 within Sonar? Is this the update in 4.1 perhaps?
Now when you create Melodyne FX regions across several tracks and open a track's melodyne region you can see these other tracks grayed out but they aren't editable within that same window. To edit another track you have to click and open the other clip's fx region.
I believe when Multi track ARA is released, we'll be able to create fx regions over multiple clips and edit them within just one instance of Melodyne. This can be done with the plugin now. The beauty of having multi track ARA is that you don't have to transfer the audio into Melodyne greatly speeding up the process. I've seen on other forums that it's really up to Celemony to release this ability to the DAW developer to make this possible.
