I suggest that CW spends a bit of time to organize the “Sound pack” and make it more useful.

  1. Make Categories such as “Z3TA+”, “Dimension”, “VST”, “Rapture Pro” and place the sound packs in the corresponding categories
  2. Make sure there are demo samples for all the Sound Packs. Many Sound packs have no demos
  3. Make sure there are no duplicates. For instance a search for “Film Score” yields two different packs by DSF. They look the same and cost the same, but is it the same package listed twice? There are several other instrument packs that are listed multiple times
  4. Clarify which packs works on which instrument – they should all be listed. For instance, does a Rapture/Dimension pack work on Rapture Pro and Z3TA? Does a Rapture Pro sample pack work on Rapture; what if it’s an HD Rapture Pro pack?

Final thought: In view of the subscription model it would seem that CW would want to monetize as much as possible on an ongoing basis, so having a functional market intuitively makes sense. I might also make sense to offer incentives/discounts to subscription member to purchase your packs/instruments, so we don’t all head to Kontakt and the vendors who have more organized and complete instruments and markets.
