That thread about the grid reminded me that I'd love to see directories be "sticky" in the requester that pops up when you create a new project.

Most of my projects involve multiple (many multiple) sub-projects.

A recent project required a dozen music tracks and maybe another dozen sound effects.

Not a huge deal, but my default project folder is "D:\Cakewalk Projects" - so every time I need to create a new sub-project I need to change the save path. Or I need to change the default path. Both work, both are sub-optimal.

For example, the project above ended up looking something like this:

D:\Cakewalk Projects\The  Snow Ball\
D:\Cakewalk Projects\The  Snow Ball\Music\MUS-01-Opening Dream\
D:\Cakewalk Projects\The  Snow Ball\Music\MUS-02-First Waltz\
D:\Cakewalk Projects\The  Snow Ball\Music\MUS-03-Schottische\
D:\Cakewalk Projects\The  Snow Ball\SFX\
D:\Cakewalk Projects\The  Snow Ball\SFX\SFX-01-contractors\
D:\Cakewalk Projects\The  Snow Ball\SFX\SFX-02-traffic\
D:\Cakewalk Projects\The  Snow Ball\SFX\SFX-03-car horn\

Each of those is a folder, and in folder you would find the cwp file, an audio sub-directory, and the finished wav and mp3 files.

Make any sense at all???
