Voda La Void
Typical Skinnybones to my ears.  It's like you invented a genre. I love how odd and awkward your music is presented. Those are compliments in my world.  Anyone listening to you with radio music sensibilities isn't going to understand - they want formulaic boring retread, singing about their crotch with easily familiar melodies that we've heard used again and again...

You write for *real*.  I listen to your music and I hear a genuine artist, not a gimmick or a corporate product.  Thanks for sharing.  I'm always going to gush about you.  Sorry.

What a treat!  I echo Tim's comments above.  Your songs are the real stuff and not the stale corporate noise!  This number has a bit of a 1930's cabaret feel --- at least to me.  I always look forward to your posts and look forward to the next one!!

Voda la Void and Freddy J,

I can't tell you what your kindness means to me the way I'd like to, but when someone takes the time and trouble to try to put things in a way that will encourage you, and does it so generously, it is truly touching.

Thank you both very very much

Just to say that this song is the first of ten songs on an album called "LeJiT" (my initials are LJT) that has been released by LandR and is available on iTunes/Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play Music, and iHeartRadio (and a few other places that aren't available where I live).

In one way, I'm mortified that my crumminess (bad singing/playing/laughable "productions", etc. etc.) is now out there for all to hear. On the other hand, I've been a hermit socially for years, and if I hadn't accepted taking this step now, I realize that I would never have done it. It feels like it's my one chance to ever break out of isolation. So I took a chance and stepped off the ledge. Ahhhhhhhh :)

That says it perfectly.  This song is unique and you do a great job presenting it.  Fascinating stuff here.

Thank you, jude77! That was very kind of you to say - I know there are many glaring faults that I'm hoping not to repeat next time, but of course, new ones are sure to pop up like groundhogs. Thanks for the encouraging words in the meantime :)
