Chuck, you do not have to open the Drum Map manager in order to edit the name of a given articulation

With the PRV visible and a drum map loaded, just double click any entry and the Map Properties dialog will be opened where you can change anything you want.

thanks BJ.
I probably didn't word my comment as well as I should have.
double clicking on custom maps works but I much prefer editing an already established map / or a default map.
like Session drummer, in mercury=you have the piano with nice large black print on white background.
in custom maps, you have white lettering on a grey background which is hard to see.

maybe I can use theme editor to change some of these colors.
thanks for the reply.

Drum maps are indispensable for me.  I use AD2 and EZ Drummer 2.  I use the AD 2 map provided by Sonar in the link above, and I have a bunch of old EZ drummer maps that still work fine.  I don't really have a way of posting them, but if anyone PMS me I can just email the EZ Drummer maps should you want them.

Hi I am just going to send you a PM. That would be great! I am using EZ drummer to write with but as I just updated to platinum from pro I will have 4 Adpaks(still deciding on what to pick for the last 2) and am wanting to try them out with the stuff I am writing to see if they sit in the mix better as I've heard great things about addictive drums sitting well in a mix but also being less processed than ezdrummer so easier to apply your own effects to.
