Has anyone else noticed that since the latest release of Sonar 2016-09 Softube Console 1 crashes as soon as you try and use it?
It was fine on previous release.

This looks like it's going to become embarrassing as softube have just released the news of DAW integration during October which I know is for Sonar having previously spoken to the guys in Sweden.

Hi are you using a beta of Console 1 by any chance?
There are lots of updates in SONAR specifically for the upcoming Console 1 DAW integration update from them which hasn't been released yet. Its definitely working with their beta since they have tested it but perhaps there is an issue with the older release somehow.
We will try and repro on our side as well but if you could log a bug with a minidump attached it would be very useful.

Thanks a lot.
Noel

Still using the publicly released version of console 1. Interesting that once it's crashed you can't start it up again difficult to see as it crashes so quickly but it looks as though it has a license verification issue. Once sonar closed it loads quite happily. I have raised a ticket with softube as well as  I know the launch of the update is a high priority after speaking to them a while ago (they only gave me hints as too what it will do understandably at the time). Will see tomorrow (uk time) if I can get any diagnostics out.
Windows 10 anniversary build and sonar platinum on 2016_09 release.

In a separate post I've detailed how the Softtube Saturation Know crashed Sonar 2016.9.  It seems there is a major Softtube problem.

Just mixed a track yesterday with console one and didn't experience any crashes. Used the vst3 version.
