Just checked with Melodyne and studio 4.0.4 is still showing as latest release.

The .09 update is a little misleading then. It might be good if the info page reflected this. After reading it I expected 4.1 when I installed it, but when checking for updates inside Melodyne it said I already have the most current version (4.0.4).

I think Celemony is still in beta with 4.1. We haven't got word of an official release date yet.
However SONAR will be fully compatible the update when it ships.

Sorry if it was confusing. The intent of mentioning 4.1 was to say that this SONAR release is fully compatible with the upcoming 4.1 release. Which info page are you referring to? On the 2016.09 page we don't mention this:

It was mentioned in the newletter though.

I believe it was originally on this page but not sure. The word "ready" was used for Studio but not Essentials when I read it. Now I see no reference to Studio so it may have been changed already or on a different page all together.
 
Or I simply read it wrong, but I won't admit to that sort of user bashing. Not on this forum!
