I installed the latest patch last night AWA the documentation.  When I go to "What's New" under the help menu it only shows 2016.08. Shouldn't the 2016.09 "What's New" be there?  What am I missing?

It sounds like you have "Always Use Local Help" checked in Preferences>File>Advanced and it doesn't appear that the SONAR Local Documentation item was updated.
 
If you uncheck "Always Use Local Help", Help will come from the online version which looks to be updated.

Thanks Bob.  I'm only online when I DL the patches.  The CCC did DL and install the Documentation.  Where does one check the documentation version?

So it wasn't last night?  The CCC showed that the documentation was available.

I don't know about the previous night.  It may have been there then pulled back for whatever reason.
 
When I looked yesterday the version in CC was the same as before 2016.09.  Later, CC showed an increased version.
 
If you select SONAR Local Documentation under Connect Products, the current and available versions are shown on the right.

You were right, Bob.  I went back to the CCC and it showed a newer version of the documentation was available.  The "Help > What's New" now shows 2016.09.
