Probably no more template failures from version to version.
 
I remember needing to occasionally rebuild templates between SONAR versions. Or was that simply due to template corruption. I don't recall.

I've not had to do that for years, and I use a number of custom templates. I think the last time might have been between X2 and X3, something like that.

I still have a few quirky things happen with track templates between versions - niggly things like forgetting midi channel settings. Perhaps it is dependant on the plugins used in the templates?
