How many of you use a LAVA LAMP in your Studio?

I knocked over and broke a lava lamp rearranging my studio last week.
What a freaking mess that was.
I need to Google what the oil is that they fill those things with.
I have no intention of replacing it!

Last night I turned out the lights, put on one of my synth jams, put it on loop, put on my headphones, and just stared at the Lava Lamp, fell asleep in my chair, woke up at 5:30AM. I was so relaxed. LOL

yup, two lava and an old glitter lamp...
I don't know if they help anything, When I start looking at them I just fall a sleep... zzzZzzzZzzz...

Lava Lamps are so 70's.........I use an Interrogation room flood light...........Much better results............

I definitely use the lava lamp!! And for added ambiance I also wear bell bottoms and a flowered shirt. I find the combination makes my Partridge Family covers extra groovy!

I have one on my desk but I never turn it on. It gets too hot. It's the real deal to not one of those plastic ones. I didn't realize it would improve my mixing. We'll see.
