I'm finally going to install CbB.  I remember seeing mention of there being detailed instructions about which elements of Splat that needed to be ported manually but can't seem to find it.  I've read the Bandlab instructions here:
http://www.cakewalk.com/D...p=Introduction.30.html
but I was hoping to read up more on other issues and solutions before I tackled the install.  If that document, (or post), exists, where can I find it?

Thanks!

Paul

Installing CbB is not much different than upgrading from one Cakewalk DAW to another. In fact, there have been a couple of subtle changes that make it easier.

Since it is an upgrade, CbB installs into separate folders except for the "shared folders." When first run CbB will ask to migrate old settings. When upgrading from Platinum this is a good idea. Upgrading from older versions should probably configure CbB from scratch.

If you were in the habit of modifying the version specific folders in "Cakewalk Content" you will need to integrate your customizations with the folders under "Cakewalk Core" in "Cakewalk Content."

IIRC, the newer CbB installers migrate VST paths and custom plug-in layouts.

The only add-on provided with CbB that is not bundled with Platinum is the theme editor.

Thanks much, Steve!
