  • PlugIns Missing - How to find out which? (p.2)

For bitflipper wrote about the "Library.db" I had the idea to read the Project ".cwp" file with a HEX-Editor and:
 
Here we are:)
 
Just search for the name of the PlugIn, "Bass" and "Organ" in my case and on the left of the name is written the real name of the synth, on the right the Preset you used!! Great:)
 
For me it was Trilian for the Bass and Aranami2 for the Organ. OK, I've worked with Trilian years ago, not any more, but I have never heard from a synth called Aranami:(  Obviously I used it, I must have used it:)  I have to look for...for I regularly make Backups from all Cakewalk related Dirs (Content, Vsts, ProgramData a.s.o.), there must be at least a DLL from it....hopefully registered..

It's just logical, everything must be written in the cwp file, every used synth, every used plugin, every used clip a.s.o.

cmiiw but i seem to remember pre-x series that the missing plugin name was still shown in the UI, but greyed out? or maybe i just dreamt that?
