Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere but I found no search results on this Q:

Is there a setting somewhere I've missed that would allow for a default size when opening up a Multidock window?
Feel like I spend a not of needless mousing resizing the window when I open it for various tasks in the course of a session.
It typically opens to about 1/4 of my (bottom) screen space and I always end up dragging the bar up so it's using more space but still allowing me to see some of my track view. I know I can shift+d for full screen but that's handy for other tasks.
Any way to do this? Thanks!

I'm not sure about the newer Sonars but in SonarX2 the solution would be to create a screenshot of what you would like to see. I have 10 possible Screen shots available that I make my self. Try bottom of the Edit screen for screenshots.

Pretty sure you are referring to Screensets, not screenshots.

And yes, Screensets are the way to go most definitely.
Set up your workspace the way you want it to be, then in the Screenset menu duplicate it to an unused set, then lock it.

For anyone that runs into this, I found the issue.

Several of my custom templates must have had a small sized (1/4 screen or so) Multidock height set, so this setting was "sticky" and was always opening in a small size. This was really annoying when doing Melodyne regions 20-30 times in a session, as you're always resizing. I just never saw a way to "reset" this sticky setting. Now I do.

The trick: close your Multidock.
Next, mouse grab the boundry for the "closed  multidock" and manually open it to the size that fits your workflow.
Hit "D" to close it.
Next time it opens, the larger size will be "sticky" as it should be and everything you open in the Multidock will open to that size.
Oh, and yes the Screensets would be a good workaround, but I knew this behavior was not correct so I'm glad to have found the cause and fix. Thanks for helping work through it :)

Shift + D goes between the 1/3 window and full window.

Thanks, yes I've got that.
As mentioned in the original post, it's the 1/3 screen size that I wanted to customize.

The process above "sets" the partial screen open and it then sticks there.
In my case I wanted the partial to be 3/4 screen.
Shift+D now toggles between my 3/4 screen and full screen.
