In post processing I do mostly clip cutting and stretching-shrinking, hours of work at one sitting.
 
Up til now,  stretch-shrinking was done with pressing Ctrl and a Mousemove.
 
As of this version, to stretch/shrink, you have to press Ctrl+Shift at the same time. This means constantly twisting the wrist to an awkward angle and after a long work session, I am beginning to feel some pain. I don't know how others see this, but I for one would be very happy if the default layout were put back.
 
Also, if programming effort is going to be applied to a particular area, please consider taking the opportunity to fix the underlying bugs too, not just make cosmetic changes. Stretch/Shrinking snipped clips still changes the Snap Offset value, causing unexpected and confusing Snap-To-Grid behavior (CWBRN-40003)

Actually you don't have to...it's one option. Here's another.
 
Tap F8 until the timing tool appears (with the default setup, it's two taps). Now you can stretch without having to hold Ctrl. If you select a different tool, unless you change the edit tool the Timing tool will be one tap away on F8. In fact if you use any tool (we'll use the Smart tool for the sake of example) and the previous tool you used was the Timing tool, then you can just tap the Smart tool function key to toggle back and forth between the Smart tool and the Timing tool.
 
If you have problems with RSI in general, I can't recommend the POK programmable footswitch highly enough, and not just for SONAR (it's great with Microsoft Word when you're formatting text). It's the best $150 you'll spend if RSI is a problem.

Check the September release - one of the bug fixes was for "Superfluous snap offset was created after stretching audio clip." FWIW the change to Ctrl+Shift was primarily for consistency among tools, not cosmetic reasons (although doing so eliminated visual clutter as a byproduct).
