I've had Addictive Drums 2 since I purchased AD2 wit hSonar Platinum back in December of 2015. every thing was working find and i loved working with AD2.
Today I received a prompt that Windows 10 was requiring me to perform ans update. I updated Windows 10 and when the computer restarted and Ipened Sonar Platinum and inserted AD2 and received the following message.
Wrong Computer ID
Possible Problem with Authorization
Please make sure that your host is not run in compatibility mode.
If this is not the case, run the XLN Audio Online installer to authorize and likewise check that it is not run in compatibility mode.
I received the same message when I attempted to run Addictive Keys as well.
I checked the properties on each Addictive.exe file for AD2, AD Keys and AD installer and none of them were in Compatibility mode.
I searched the XLN help and support site and find the resolution below.
==========================
My product is suddenly not authorized - "Wrong Computer ID" or "Instrument in trial mode"
If a product suddenly goes to trial mode, it means that something in your computer triggered a change in the Computer ID (perhaps a software or hardware update). This in turn deauthorizes your product. This is easy to fix:
Login to your user account and go to My Account ->
My Computers Remove your current computer and then run the XLN Online Installer and re-register it. After that the software should be properly authorized.
If it's still not working (and you're on a Windows computer) then it is possible that you are running your DAW in compatibility mode, which interferes with the authorization. Right-click on the DAW icon -> Properties -> Compatibility tab. Then deactivate Compatibility mode if activated and try again. Do the same for the Online Installer.
THIS WORKED !!!
I received a new computer ID from XLNAudio for my products and they all work.
