I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version before time runs out.

When I upgrade via the command center I get an error message.  I need to re install everything Sonar Platinum.  How do I do this?  I dont want to delete the current version in case I'm stuck with the earlier instalations and I'm only left with patches.

How do I install from scracth?  I recently added a new drive to replace an old one.  I think some of Sonar was linked to the old drive so when it looks for the drive letter it does not find it.

have you tried downloading from your user area?

Yes.  But they only look like patches.  I can't find a large program that installs the whole thing.

SONAR updates are cumulative. There is no way to have an installation which only contains patches. There is no time out for any release of Platinum you have paid for. They are all available in the Command Center and your account. It is not clear why you believe a reinstall is necessary. That said, here are the instructions for a clean install which will work for any version of Platinum http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013392/SONAR-2015-Clean-Install-Instructions

The instructions are from a knowledge base, a great place to look for answers to questions like this one.

I already explained that I changed a drive.  So some aspect of it was on that F drive:

That drive is no longer available.  Sonar Runs fine but won't update because of a change in my drive lettering.

You say there is no reason...This is the last day for updates for me so I want to get it up to the latest patch version.

I cracked it.  There is a sub menu where you can change one of the 3 or 4 file locations.  One of those was set to the old drive.  So I'm good!

I guess F is now used for something else and cannot be assigned like it was prior to the drive swap. Either way, a clean install is not too painful especially if the installers are already cached.

Edit: I see it appeared to be a C3 config change, even easier.
