In the past year, I started recording on my laptop using the NI Komplete 6 as the audio interface. It worked well and I am happy with it. Prior to that, I was using my PC with an Audiophile 2496 pci card and was very happy with that, too. I am considering going back to my PC as the recording rig and wonder whether it would be better to use the NI Komplete or stick with the Audiophile. I know I will have to break out my mixer if I want to use the Audiophile and wouldn't need to if I went with the Komplete. Any suggestions, particularly in regard to sound quality and latency?
