Beautiful! I used to hang around the old forum pretty often (under a different handle), and thought most of the music produced by Sonar users sounded like work of hobbyists.

Today, songs here have the music and the production value to rival the best of them, and this is a prime example. I think it's a testament to how much Sonar has grown and allowed its users to grow with it.

Hey Steve - this is really great!  I don't do prog myself but you probably remember I'm a huge fan!  Wakeman was my biggest hero in high school and early adult years!  And Howe, and...man...too many to name!

this is excellent!  love the orgran!  love the guitars!  just great stuff!

Thanks, Reece!   Yeah, for me, Yes in the DNA.  Though the Genesis of this song was a little different.

Sure, your influences show, but who can't say that? 18 years is what I call percolation. I've recorded songs written thirty years prior. Good song with solid performances. Especially like the lead guitar. Perhaps the mix is a bit boxy, a crime I'm usually guilty of too. Good work.

Thanks, Mark!   18 years of percolation, huh... never thought of it that way, but I like it.       The mix was the best I could do with that I had, but I do also find the boxy thing is sometimes be difficult to overcome.    One of these days I'll figure that out....

Thanks, Erik!   I agree that the quality on this forum just keeps getting better and better.  I hear some pieces that are radio/CD/commercial ready, and it's one of the things that can be a great motivator.   Not to mention the endless variety of styles and genres.    This place rocks.
