Here's a new tune, kind of a different one for me. This one was a very difficult song for me to record since it required far more finesse with vocals than I was actually capable of. I had to practice this one for quite some time, and when I finally felt okay about recording it, I couldn't find my pop screen. Rats. Ah well, like always, it is what it is. :)

I'm happy to hear your comments and critique on every aspect of this song, thanks!

I think you did a great job putting this all together. Your vocals sound just fine, and didn't bury them in the mix. Overall mix sounds well-balanced. Well done!

Nice one Kevin. Voc sounds fine. A few sibilant spikes here and there though.

Thanks! Yeah, there's lots of little vocal ickiness in there. I have a pretty noisy room and all that noise just acts like some pretty heavy saturation at the end of the chain, so de-essing just ends up doing even more damage. Some day I'll do something about that. Plus my mic technique is pretty crappy anyway.

I appreciate you listening to it!

Note to self, if you hit the reply button and it doesn't seem to be doing anything, don't hit it again. :)

Hmm, there's lots of tiny little crackles and pops in there that weren't in the wav. What has reverb nation done to my little tune?

I didn't hear any noise this morning...

I really like this song.  The vocals and harmony are great.  Nice guitar harmony on the bit of a dual lead. There is a bit of sibilance but it certainly doesn't distract from a really nice number.

Thanks, Freddy, I appreciate your time and attention. Turns out the crackling was a streaming artifact on the lap top I was using. ReverbNation is off the hook. This time.
