I'd love to be able to drag and drop fx-chains with all automation lines from an audio output track to a bus track. I have, for example, some percussion track with fx-chain and automation, later I find there should be some more percussion, so I create another track for those, but then I wish to apply the same fx-chain ti the new percussion. I did not find that it is possible to copy automation lanes from an audio track to a bus track.
Please, if I am trying out some impossible thing: let me know. Then: make it possible. ;-)
In case it is possible, please tell me how to.
Thankx.

Instead of a bus use a new audio track and patch point
1) Duplicate the first percussion track (right-click the duplicate track button and insure at least events and effects are checked before created the duplicate track. I usually have everything checked and clean up the tracks as needed)
2) Delete all the effect automation and effects from the first track
3) Delete the audio from the duplicated tracks
4) Change the input on the duplicated track to a patch point
5) Set the output for first percussion track and any new percussion tracks the patch point.

Then CTRL-C to copy
Chose Edit Paste | Special
Select Bus as destination and choose the bus you want to paste to
