CanopusWhen I decided to try out MIDI, I went to a local instrument repair shop to buy a sound card and some MIDI cables. I already had a synth with MIDI connections. When I was there, I took the opportunity to ask the owner if he had some appropriate program to go along with it. He said he had, and took a cyan colored box down from a shelf. This was Sept. 3 1991 and the name of the software was Cakewalk 4.0 for DOS. I bought it and have been a happy Cakewalker ever since. Have upgraded once or twice since then, though. -Happy user #11-
