Totally agree. As a long term Sonar user I have always been a fan but I am blown away by how far it has come in the past 2 years.

started on Pro Audio 9 and then to Sonar 8 and every single X series.
I tried Pro tools for a few months, went back to Sonar...The End.

I've been hooked ever since Home Studio 4.
Every upward evolution was easy to master.
All built from a similar foundation.
You can say I am happily brand loyal.

A great product developed by a great team!

I'm pleased to be here from the beginning and connected to this as working with Sonar truly defines me...

Sonar is my main instrument!

When I decided to try out MIDI, I went to a local instrument repair shop to buy a sound card and some MIDI cables. I already had a synth with MIDI connections. When I was there, I took the opportunity to ask the owner if he had some appropriate program to go along with it. He said he had, and took a cyan colored box down from a shelf.

This was Sept. 3 1991 and the name of the software was Cakewalk 4.0 for DOS. I bought it and have been a happy Cakewalker ever since. Have upgraded once or twice since then, though.

Holy crap. Deja vu. I'm not sure of the date but that was almost exactly the same here with CW4 for DOS except it was at a GC in North Dallas.

I confess that I have strayed. I was unfaithful. I was deceived by the promise of greener grass but I have learned the errors of my ways. Please forgive me brothers and sisters! </southern preacher>
