I thought pro channel was per track. but when i make a change to the pro ch in track one, that same change happens in track two, 3 , 4 , etc. 
 
When creating the project I chose 24 track 4 bus console n type. Could that be the reason? I also have been too busy to update so maybe there's a bug fix for this.

My thought too. 

I have found out what was really happening. When I click the solo button the audio of that track would play. And I assumed the pro channel and track effects would change to the track of the solo button i selected. But it turns out that hitting the solo button in the track doesn't switch to the pro channel of that track. You also have to click somewhere in the track besides the solo button, e.g. clcik in the send box, fx, box, fader, etc. Solo button is not telling the system that you have switched tracks as far as the channel fx are concerned.
