I have Sonar HS6XL, but I only used it for 6 weeks before upgrading to Producer. However it was not so different from other pre-X versions of Sonar, so whatever questions you have could potentially be answered by Sonar users who have been around long enough.

I wish to purchase Cakewalk SONAR Home Studio 6 (not Producer Edition). I have functionally "lost" mine on an obsolete computer. I've been unable to locate it on Craiglist & eBay

Any willing seller please contact me.

You can't resell cakewalk software.( just in case you didn't know) I would also be very cautious about buying software in this manner

Permit me to rephrase then - would anyone wish to GIFT their SONAR Home Studio 6? My version 6 is functionally "lost" on an old obsolete computer. I no longer have .exe to install it on my new machine. Frankly, I am not computer savvy - as a total novice virgin to DAW - through "trial & error" - steep learning curve -  it took me nearly 5 months to get any sound. Presently, I'm familiar & comfortable with it and have no interest in current CW software.

Per user agreement the software cannot be transferred in any way. However, if you have YOUR s/n and reg numbers you CAN use "borrowed" media to install the program. You should be able to get these numbers from your user account.
