SONARPLT.exe has stopped working
 
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

It's happening while editing/mixing.
I am on the latest update.

Hi. What more is showing in the error message (error code)? It could be several things that is the cause. Is drivers and Windows up to date? 3rd party Vst's? The more info you give, the easier it is to help.

not getting an error code, this all started with august update. I was getting audio farts so I did system restore and went back and then the crash started, I updated again to 2016.08 Update 1 and the crashes continue.
Everything else is up to date

you can try to re personalize sonar by holding down CTRL + starting sonar.
this has worked for users.
 

hmm never heard of that b4 but i'll give it a try.

well that didn't work, I didn't even start the track yet and got the same SONARPLT.exe has stopped working.
Time to try going back to an earlier version this is foolishness, I can't finish ppl's projects like this.
 
Thanks for the suggesting though Chuck.

I had this issue and I renamed the Cakewalk folder in C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming to Cakewalk.old and restarted. I had an issue with a corrupt interface setup of some kind.
