Hi,guys!!!!  I got all of my install exes for Samplitude X3 Pro Suite! I click on the installer and the window says it is preparing files for install. The bar shows activity and then everything disappears!!!! I tried turning off the firewalls and the anti-virus and the same thing happens. I tried the Sound Forge install and it does the same thing. Anybody know what's going on here? PLEASE!!!

On the setup, try right-click, Run as Administrator.

If that doesn't work, the downloads may have gotten corrupted.  Try downloading them again (Preferably with a download manager).

That sounds odd. Do as JonD said above, plus, reboot your machine first. I was able to install everything easily without having to run as admin.

You might also try deleting the contents from your Temp folder.

I tried installation on Asus desktop and it kicked right in! I hit cancel so it must be a setting in the laptop that is not allowing the install!!! I have the installs on a USB drive and I did try redownloading straight to the computer but sill no go. Any more suggestions? BTW, Thanks for the help and your taking time with me on this. I will miss this forum terribly when it is finally over.

Samplitude has a pretty good forum too.

Yes, make sure you have the correct version for your OS, either 64-bit or 32-bit.

Also, copy the setup file from the USB stick to the desktop and run it from there.

And as scook posted, the Samp forums are good and have some very experienced users.

The installer installs both the 32bit and 64bit versions.

Sidroe, just to confirm it is samplitudeprox3suite_int_dlm.exe that you are running? There will be one of those "Do you want xyz to make changes on this computer" prompts. Sometimes that prompt doesn't come up on the screen but hides on the taskbar. Are you sure that's not happening in this case?

I would also definitely recommend copying the exe files to your hard drive before running them.

at first my audio interface driver was set to 48,000 and the program wouldn't run until I switched it to 44,100.
