Hi
My computer which was seven years old has now gone Kaput or Defunct!! DEAD!!!
I could never get Sampletank to layer sounds using it from the channels inside the Instrument.
If I set Sampletank up to play several channels It would keel over after a few bars and Freeze
When I put Sampletank 3 Into Mixcraft a box came up saying there Is something wrong inside Sampletank engine and Sonar Platinum just said that there is something wrong.
I went through Ik Multimedia's support about hundred and one times but the answers alway kept going around In circles
 
I am having a new computer built.
 
What is the chances of Sampletank 3 behavng Itself!!!????
Or is It a jinx program!!???

I had the same problem.  When I upgraded my computer last year St acted much better.  Hopefully, your problem will be solved.

ST3 running fine here in Windows 10, as standalone, as well as in any DAW that I have tried. 
 
But I stick to the VST2 version, as I did have a few plugin crashes when testing it with the VST3.  But that is not the only VST3 I have encountered problems with.
