Did you NOT use Chrome to upload? That happened on the first time I uploaded using IE/Edge (can't remember which, but it was one of those).

Oh good heavens. You're right, bapu. That has to be it. I use a stripped-down build of Firefox called Waterfox.

I mean, really? I'll buy that the fancy browser-based DAW only works in Chrome, but just uploading an audio file and a background image? That would be like coding your DAW so that it only works with one brand of interface. You'd hardly be able to call it a pro tool....oh wait....

Well, switch me from "have posted" over to "plan to." When I can load up Chrome, get the audio file together, the image file, blah blah blah.

If it only works with Chrome then I'll change my answer to no as well.

I'm not installing a browser that I don't want just for one website.

Strange business decision if true.

Or maybe not............

Chrome is by far the most used browser by a very large margin in the world market (which also holds true for the USA market).

And this holds true for both desktop and mobile platforms.  If you are reliant on something else, you are the minority.

I think it would be nice if people could share their Cakewalk Sonar projects files.  Not just exporting a song.  There are so many clever ways to use this program that don't automatically lend themselves to common sense.  That way we could learn from each other.

Nope. No shortage of local collaborators if I want them.

I uploaded one track to get a feel for how it works. I haven't made any more plans either way.

...In order to access much of the content on the BandLab website you MUST use the Chrome browser...

I've stopped using Chrome on the family PC as it kept causing crashes. I therefore won't be uploading anything to the Bandlab site.

I was using chrome for about a decade now without any major issues...
Everybody has their own tastes / opinions. What I mean, This should be a "non issue" for  musician that want to be heard. I know, I will probably be eaten about now :)

On the same page, I hope that Bakers are listening... If it is a real issue for some that prevents them from using Bandlab, maybe an alternative method of uploading should be implemented.

After this Audioicon started this post, I have decided to upload couple of my tunes, just to see the process. There some things I would like to be different, but overall everything went well. I do not care much about "following" and becoming "popular", but what I am hoping to get out of Bandlab is to find a couple of people who can give me a healthy critique of my stuff or even collaborate with me on some future tunes. Most of my friends are not musicians, so I think Bandlab might be a good platform for me to meet new interesting people.

Audiocon, thank you for bringing this up.

Not open collabs.  No way.  I don't want one of my tunes becoming a hip hop tune.  If I'm going to collaborate with somebody I need to know in advance what their plans are.

I'm on the fence about this one...
I'm not sure that I'd want to have my ideas on an "Open" collab.
I don't have the patience (nor stomach) for that.

I'm with JohnBee.. I'd like to know in advance what the plan is.
