reminds me of the time I got upset with sonar (when the X series was introduced) and went to pro tools for a few months. I think we know how that story ends.
needless to say I've bought all 4 X series versions of sonar and have not looked back.
with the risk of sounding like a fan-boy,Sonar just does what I want it to. it also helps that the learning curve is not there.
I did however like some of Pro tools options and workflow. some of their stock plug ins were half decent as well. but as I said, Sonar just works. my work habits flow, its like driving that car you've had for 10 years.
you know what to expect, you know how it will react and it knows how you react to it.
sooner or later someone is going to invent a DAW software that study's the way you work and adapt to your habits.
are you listening cakewalk ? even though your high on the charts with me...you could be the innovator of modern DAW technology.
but im guessing with that type of technology you'll come home one day and your software will have stolen your wife and moved out of state.
