I am an old timer ever since I brought sonar 4 and including having my own registration codes to activate every sonars I brought. I realize we have to activate new sonars in a new way (you have to be online even after each format or using a different computer). I sure missed the old ways of activations. Does anyone know if they'll bring back the old ways again as far as product activations? If not, then I guess i'll go with the new flow.

I understand the change, but isn't login in with the username and password also error prone?

Curious. Do offline or online activation cancel each other.
IOW, if you activate offline, then have your computer online, will that screw up the off line activation?
And vice versa?
