For hardware/software/audio/MIDI/Sonar performance issues:
1.
Have you read the audio setup checklist?2. What is your system spec?
3. What OS version are you running?
4. What is your audio hardware?
5. Was this item ever working in Sonar?
6. Has this problem only begun since making a configuration change or upgrade to your Sonar?
7. Are you able to describe the steps needed to reproduce the problem?
I noticed a lot of first time posters who write all about their problem without mentioning any of the above.
I ran across
a neat utility (free) called Speccy, from the developers of CCleaner,
that lets you get a snapshot of your system, and export it to a text file if desired. Maybe posting a link to your Speccy output could help the kind helpers on the forum, and save some time asking questions about your system. It's located here:
